The BOS Story

Business Office Solutions (or BOS for short) was launched in March 2017 to support local businesses and entrepreneurs with virtual office services – basically taking care of all of those mundane, administrative tasks that eat into the time business-owners just don’t have!

Problem solving
Here at BOS, we’re an innovative community-interest company and a trading arm of Wolverhampton-based charity Access to Business, who provide employment and self-employment support.

When Access to Business became inundated with business-owners desperate for a low-cost solution to help with everyday operational tasks like answering business calls and a professional meeting space for clients, BOS was born. Since then, it has gone from strength-to-strength, now boasting a modest and varied client-base.

Our services and projects
We support our clients, usually small and medium-sized businesses, with a range of virtual office solutions from a registered business address to hot-desking, meeting rooms and even accredited training courses.

BOS has previously ran Step Up, an ESF-funded project providing 54 local people with real-life work experience and basic skills training, including supporting them to become proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, email-usage and job applications.

BOS is currently running anther ESF-Funded project due to the success of the previous project. Time2Shine provides tailored 1-2-1 and group support to assist individuals with building up their employability skills. Time2Shine can provide support from CV building to mock interviews, job searching to computer support.

Work experience at BOS improves clients’ job prospects through advancing customer service and administration skills, call-center handling, event organising, and social events ­– in turn, boosting confidence, digital and social skills.

We work closely with our colleagues at Access to Business to provide personalised and seamless services for entrepreneurs, not only in skills training and support launching their own business, but also giving them confidence, empowering them for their next step in life and beyond.
